Freqeuncey noise combo of DSL , Direct TV and Four secured wireless lines in Bedroom!

Ever since I had my DSL line turned on 18 months ago I have what I think is a high frequencey noise that is so loud from 3 am to 9 am I cannot sleep and have to turn my TV on to drown it out (this TV is connected to cable). It appears to weaken during the day and sometimes stop altogether for a small periods of time but it has been consistent and loud from 3 am to 9 am for 18 months now. The configuration is this; there is a phone jack beside my bed with a filter on it, my modem is across the room in a closet,(it is NOT wireless) my neighbor has a direct TV dish just outside roughly 5 feet away from this jack (and roughly 7 feet from my not-so-sleeping head) There are also four wireless secured lines running through my bedroom as well. There is an intermittent buzzing sound when my head is on the pillow Sometimes, like this Sunday morning the noise is so loud I can hear it across the room. There are times its strong enough to feel like a vibration. I can't get any rest - I have tried turning everything off from the power strip and unplugging which cuts it by maybe 10 percent. What is causing this frequency noise, and how can I get it stopped. What problems should I look for from the dish? (I'm almost positive it's not grounded) Are the four other wireless lines being drawn to my dsl line/modem when not in use because I'm NOT wireless? PS I can't move the bed it's the only complete wall. Please help me if you can
Thanks so much

This is not a electronics issue with your equipment. All those devices uses frequencies that are higher than you can hear. The only exception is the power supply and it would be a low hum but you would hear it all the time.

I am getting no service on my Samsung TV- using Direct TV. Also cannot reach service line which I pay for monthly.Samsung TV- Direct TV. Picturing working in Living Room, not in Bedroom.

Make sure the DirecTv receiver is powered, and the appropriate cables are connected correctly to the tv, then use your tv remote to change inputs to the one the cables are connected to. (Hdmi1 for hdmi1, etc). As long as you have the right input, and both items are powered, you should at least have a message on screen, if not programming.

I have new direct tv installation. now my dsl keeps dropping out. i unplug the direct tv box and everything is ok?

It sounds like they have given you the base DSL service with the minimal speed. If they did, it won't be enough to run two things at one time on the same dsl line. Call AT&T and check your speed or service that was installed and ask if it is enough to run to computers on the same line at once.
Also make sure that there is no filter on your dsl line that goes to your computer.

Here is another tip; the longer the phone line from the wall to your computer, the slower the dsl service. Longer cords slow down your internet.

Hi andrew, its not a big problem.. Decent TV. but the pixels are DEAD. that means you have to recover them by fixing the LCD. this would cost you around £40-60 for a 32 inch TV. hope this helps!

The power comes on and then turns off and the front green power light blinks.

There is a small IC in the power supply section,
not the IC regulator that's the problem.

Todd, when you trip the system does it seize the phone line. (meaning does it cut off the plone line to your house phones.) if not you have a wiring problem. also security systems are designed to talk to the monitoring stations reciever on standard pots(annalog) phone lines, not on a dsl line with out a dsl filter. not over voip lines,. you may want to see if your monitoring station can connect to your system remotly. any good security company should be able to do this for you. if they cant you may want to look for a new company.

RF module related to Direct TV.

yes you can but the 2nd tv wont be in HD. The modulator can be purchased for any electronics store. what it does is turns a composite video signal (yellow, red, white cables) into a coax (screw in cable). it has an composite input that you would connect from the receiver and a coax output that you would connect to the other bedroom tv.
