I found one of this on a garbage deposit. I opened the battery box and it was completly destroyed. A good technician could restore all the conections on this...not a big deal, but I'm not LOL, so I took out th two main cables (red and black) by take out the three screw placed where the battery box snaps in. The I conected a 9v battery directly on this two wires and voila! the pony is alive again

    I got mine for $40.00 on ebay it works perfectly, they had several more for sell, it was worth to see Butterscotch come back to life.

I replaced the batteries in my daughters "Butterscotch" but she still does nothing. No sound or movement at all. HELP!
make sure the batteries are in the right way and contacts are clean , try new batteries from a fresh pack,make sure switch is on if it has one, then if that doesnt work, beat butterscotch on the floor a few times, may get him going (seriously)

I bought butter scotch pony used and I dont know where the batteries go, and if it needs a remote to turn him on, can you help me
it does not have a remote. Put butterscotch on her side and feel her belly. There should be a velcro flap. Pull this to reveal a plastic box. Unscrew the box and that's where the batteries go.

Once you backout the retaining screw, put your fingers in the gap between the battery compartment and the switch. Push the battery compartment to the rear of the pony then you can remove it.
