Can't do the wiring diagram atm but can walk you though the basic diagnostic steps thi will at least isolate the misbehaving circuit.

1 one cause loss of power though the switch. You have power to run the motor while in the start position but lose it when released. Internally it makes contact supplying power to the exciter circuit on the alternator, but when you release it more than like likely the switch is bad.. in the run position without cranking check power out ot the switch also most marine applications are 2 wire check your grounds are hooks up. the go to the alt the is a small wire which will be you exciter wire. take a test light disconnect it from the back of the alt and turn the Ing. switch to run don't crank it over yet. Ground the test wire to the block. but the tip in the wire you disconnected.. you get a light? yes go to next step if not check switch and check for ground to the block if you dont know how read a little further down;. take you test light connect to the positive wire that goes to the back of the alt the DC + larger red one from battery that is the charge wire connect test light to that one and touch the block does it light ? no check wire to battery check ground and hot side for an open circuit. if you grounded the test light to the block in the last step and the check for a light and had one the ground circuit is goo if not go to the battery sting a jumper wire to where you can reach it while having the test connect to the battery charge wire at the back of the alt do you get a LIGHT YES OKAY GND IS GOOD. now repeat with the charge wire get a light ? iF yes pull alt and take in or repairs if got light both times last two steps. if not the you have a open circuit or a bad ground or the hot side .. trace wiring back with test every few feet or so till you find the break repair re-test system. If you could give more infor on the system ( i'm not familiar with this one at all just know the alt and for what you said is enough to get you thought the basic diagnostic)) i could draw you a wiring diagram off the top of my head fairly quickly.. and send it to you but would have to quiz you on the system.

I worked for bosch electrical for 15 years as a field technical engineer 1st class in europe.. was the lead no code diagnostic specialist for the whole iberian peninsula. and taught automotive technologies for 3 years and hold a 5 year Electromechanical Eng, degree. so i have a some idea of what's going on just to explain it in dept would take about five time the space. it could be a simple as a lose ground of something as rare a nomaly open positive actived imtermintae durty relay on the powerboard switching unit is bad ciruit board is bad.. both rare one i 50 ish chance i would say 4 top probable causes are bad ing switch, loss of ground or power at the block/alt area loss of ignition to lat (again bad switch or relay. ba starter solenoid check post 51a for hot while cranking should stay hot the continue to be hot until you shut the switch of or it is only hot while cranking depending on the model. this elec will dirve you nuts.

Hi, I have been tying for quite some time to narrow down the complete unit model number. The wiring diagram is in the manual that if you know your model number canbe downloaded here:
http://www.lincolnelectric.com/en-us/support/Pages/operator-manuals.aspx

I have tried the AS3660, 0950-BG2 and AS3740 numbers without success.

If you can not find the unit model number ask them using this link:
http://www.lincolnelectric.com/en-us/support/ask-the-experts/Pages/ask-the-experts.aspx

It really has been frustrating simply because the model number just does not seem to be availble via searches. Three different attempts in the last 6.5 hours without success. I only want to help you. I could care less about the money.

Hel Chandan, I need the circuit to generator KUBOTA ASK-R150 ModelSA-B, because Iam working this generator in my country. I am Electrical Ingeneer, Iam not documentation about this machine.

gen set circuits are the same as any other electrical circuits and if you are an electrical engineer , you will have training in gen set circuitry and construction
all gen sets are basic in construct with a few cosmetic additions to make them more sale able
of course you could always search --workshop manual for kubota ask-r1560 model sa-b

Can voltage on Powermate be adjusted?

yes
the adjustment is by the rpm setting on the governor spring
thee is a nut that you adjust the spring tension with and lower the rpms and watch the voltage gauge until you get the desired voltage
if the load is going to be constant but is well within the rated capacity( example 2kva of a 6.5 kva set) of the gen set then the variation when the load comes on will be less than 5 volts
however if the power required is close to the max capacity of the gen set ( example 4.5kva of a rated 5 kva set) , then turn the unit on and adjust the rpms up to the required voltage required
remember that an advertised kva is not the rated kva
rated kva is what the gen set will produce all day and is normally around 1kva less than advertised kva
so if you have a 6.5 kva gen set ,it will handle current peaks to 6.5 kva but will burn out if required to run long time at that load
if the gen set is 1000 watts then rated watts will be less ( 750-800) for long time use

Have a newage stamford alternator c20a kva 15.625 bolted to a deutz model f2l912 engine and have tried to pull the 2 components apart but can only get the 2 parts about 1 inch apart anybody got the an

from what you are describing the generator is a 15 kva unit bolted to the back of a deutz engine
check the end of the alternator armature for a bolt head. it is possible that there is a long bolt going through the centre of the armature shaft and holding the armature to the crankshaft on a taper
some older units used 4 rubber blocks in the drive from the crank shaft and there is a plate to retain them in place ( They were a safety device to protect the unit from damage if the mains power come back on while the generator was running. The out of phasing would stop the armature and rip the rubber blocks up)

Is wiring of a 100KVA with SX440 the same with a 125KVA with a MX321 AVR

talk with the gen set manufacturer
The question here is , you are fitting a different alternator to an engine so is the engine of sufficient torque to maintain 85% capacity under full load of the alternator
25KVA extra requires more HP than a 100 kva so that should be the first consideration
Is the engine big enough to run the bigger alternator

I have a Yanmar 4.5 KVA Generator running into a Trace 2.5 KVA inverter/charger, the inverter requires 205-220volts to operate, once the inverter connects the voltage drops on the genny over a ten second+-...

try adjusting the gen voltage at no load to run at 240 volts
when the load comes on it will drop back to 220-235 volts
check the load output from the inverter as 2.5 kv is nearly 80% of the genset duty cycle
4.5 KV is start up KV and the duty KV is around 3..8 kv not the plated 4.5 kv
to get constant 4.5 kv you will need a 5.5-6 kv unit
if the current draw from the inverter is excessive , the engine may not have enough in reserve to over come the load and will not pick up the rpms
take the gen set and the inverter to a shop that has a calibrated load bank to test accurate power output to determine if the engine needs an overhaul
