My Keurig is only making 1/2 cup of coffee on the large setting. Then about 1 minute later, the other 1/2 comes out. Why is this happening, please?

Hello MWG, Make sure that you're following the PRIMING instructions for the Keurig coffee machine. First fill completely the water reservoir and then turn on the coffee maker. Allow it to self-prime, which takes up to 4 minutes to accomplish this.

Then you place an empty cup under the dispenser and DON'T put in a K-cup into the top (yet). Now push the large cup selection and let it run. You should get some water coming out of the dispenser into the cup. After that, you should be all set to brew coffee.

If you've already tried this, unplug the machine and start over to allow the machine to properly prime and cycle through the startup process.

Since you didn't provide the model (version) of your Keurig coffee machine, I've attached a link to their site where you can get both the Quick Start Guide and the Manual for all the various models.

I find it's a good idea to keep an electronic copy of all my manuals on my computer for future use and reference.
