1. get in car, turn on head lights , do they work, (yes/no)
2. yes, turn key, does all those silly warning lights glow (y/n)
3. does CEL glow, check engine light, if not fuses are BLOWN if above 1,2. are ok.
4. Is the IMMOBLISER light happy, not telling you its IMMOBILZED? per oper. guide? if yes stop here)
5. turn the key to start (all this is in oper.guide) does engine starter crank the engine over fast? (y/n)
6. yes, then its a cranks no start issue, if no,its starter key issues.
7. Ok it cranks, do you have spark to all cylinders of unstated engine. seen above?
8. if yes, then try test fuel, if not fix bad spark. scan PCM, see why the scan tool can tell you why it wont start, by cranking any engine, with tool connected, 1996 to now. do so now.

Hazard lights or 4 way flashers do not go off when the key is off, you have to turn the switch off or it will stay on until it drains the battery.

This is normal, your car is equipped with Daytime Running Lights so just the headlights will be on at all times. Its a pointless safety feature.

It is as simple as your hazzard switch needs to be replaced yes your hazzard switch as now turn signals are built threw the hazzard switch my PT Cruiser had same problem as my s10 replaced hazzard switch fixed the problem

Can you just check to make sure the ignition key switch is not staying over to far and not backing off when you try to start it. I had a truck that did that and it messed up my turn signals until I brought the key switch back a little after starting it. Just a simple idea. Be kind with your rating for me. Raz

beeping maybe light on warning instead of key warning. Brake lights go through the hazard and turnsignal switch. Hazards may not be flashing due to bad flasher, but may be turned on. Most likely possibility is hazard switch contact in combination switch (hazard and turnsignal switch in one unit). Unplug the turnsignal switch at the bottom of the steering column and see if the problems go away, and you will know if that is it.

Usually that light stays on when you are over due for oil service, but since you state its only staying on for a short period, it might be close for the counter to reach zero miles. What I can suggest is to try and reset the counter for your maintenance light. here is hondas most typical way to resest...." insert key in ignition switch, turn key on to "run" position, do not start the car. with out taking key out return key back to "OFF", now press and hold the odometer trip reset button. while holding button turn the key back ON. Keep holding until you see the light blink/flash or on some models in the odometer window you will see the actual counter reset.

sounds like a short in the alarm system
usually alarms will blink all lights when the alarm goes off
need to check the system with a scanner
