Can't get internet We have tried wireless and

Possibly the power outage caused your modem to reset. The wired connection would still work. first thing I would try is to reset the modem with the reset button, login to the management console and put in your network name and password again.

How many wired and wireless computers do you have ion the network.
Do you have any wired computer ?
Connect your laptop to the router with the Ethernet cable and try to access Internet. See if the wired connection is working or not.
If the wired connection is working then I think you will need to check the wireless settings of the router and the laptop.

open a browser and go on to www.speedtest.net
click to check your internet speed Fios is pretty fast!
Your wireless if connected to your own network the speed is comparable weather wired or wireless!

Same situation here. Wired connection from modem works fine. I can also log in to the router via routerlogin.net. However, the router does not detect an internet connection.

what is the wireless status in system tray? is it local or local and internet.
1. first check if it works fine with wire conection or not.
2.if it fine with cable then issue is with wireless. probably issue with Wireless security key.
3. go to available wireless networks and select the net work, if it is asking for wireless key please enter that. if you donot remember that perform router reset.that takes care of it.

You need a wireless card installed and a wireless router connected to your internet connection. try newegg.com

3. If still not working if computer is set to obtain ip automatically, try assigning static ip on wireless pc
