Looking to buy connex4300hp for 150.00.think its a good deal but dont know that much about it.gonna run 18ft coax to wilson 2000 w/astatic 636L.how do i set-up for best performance?=bands,knobs on faceplate,swr's????thnx..........

At transceiver:
Pin 1: ground/PTT common
Pin 2: mic +
Pin 3: PTT NO
Pin 4: not used

At the mic, I think:
Pin 1: shld&blue
Pin 2: white
Pin 3: red
Pin 4: black

I have a wilson 5000 on a 4 mag setup.18ft of coax and a 1 to 2 match on all channels. I also have a 29 lx radio .

Did they set the swr on the new antenna for you? check the installation of antenna system. make sure the insulator is ontop of mirror mount. Check SWR's.. use a dummy load on the coax and check it to make sure its ok..... if you had bad swr before you changed antennas the rf finals may be bad in the radio. simple $10-20 repair.@ a Decent shop. don't pay more than that. have them check the swr's they should do it for FREEEE!!!.. unless theres a problem like cables,mounts bad ie...also have the radio checked that should be FREE too to have it checked on a bench.. i don't charge unless theres a problem, and the customer wants it fixed. here in temple, tx hwy 95&fm93....

that depends on what radio you want to use it with however looking at the astatic wiring handbook it doesn't seem to be used on most radios.
