You need to set your account to private. This will allow you to approve who can view your tweets.

Visit the settings section by clicking on your image on the top right of the page when are logged into twitter. In the dropdown there is an option for settings.

Once on the settings page you will need to be viewing the account tab. There is a section for tweet privacy. You will need to check the box for "Protect My Tweets" - again this will allow you to approve anyone who would like to follow you and make your tweets private.

You always can delete any Tweet made by yoursels.
Also, you can sen request to private accounts. No one should mind. It is simply not delievered.

There is no possible way for you to find out.

Twitter has a strict privacy agreement with everyone that creates an account in which they follow faithfully unless they are ordered by the court to release private information. You can flag that page so that they can shut the page down.

How do you tweet someone privately?
Sending a private or direct message on twitter is fairly simple. Log in to your account and click messages at the top of the screen. This will take you to the messages section of your account.

Once you're viewing the messages section, click the "New Message" button located toward the top of the screen. A small window will appear. Enter the recipient of your message in the first input and your full message text in the second, click send.

How do you tweet
There are two ways to tweet people directly, 'private' and 'private-plus-friends':

  1. Log in to Twitter via the Twitter Home Page, or via API. You can also update Twitter via Facebook and several other applications that use the Twitter API.
  2. Enter your message in the box with the label "What are you doing?" Keep in mind that your tweet can be no longer than 140 characters at the most. This limitation exists because Twitter uses the SMS network to send notifications via cell phone to those who desire it.
You may receive error messages with the whale picture, but this is generally uncommon.

I cant figure out how to ask questions or comment on someones twitter page. so how do i ask questions?
Provided you don't get stuck with the Twitter Is Over Capacity Whale that I've been seeing lately, there are two ways to ask questions of people directly, 'private' and 'private-plus-friends':

  1. Type "d USERNAME" before your tweet to send a direct message to a particular user. Only that user will see the message.
  2. Put "@USERNAME" at the beginning of your tweet to send a reply to a particular user. That user, your followers and that user's followers will all be able to see the tweet, but it won't appear on the public timeline.
When you send that message with D or @, then the user will get your question even if you are not being followed.

All you need is just a valid e-mail acount in order to register at the comunity. Go on, try for it but be carefull not to give your private personal details. It's a good idea to create a new e-mail acount at services like yahoo.com or gmail.com or whatever you want.
