i have an error eep on my oregon wmh 800 after changing batteries. please advise. thanks

The message "error eep" is display on the main unit. I checked and changed the all the batteries, I pressed the reset button both on the main unit and on the outdoor unit and this message is still displayed.

You will need to turn the ignition on (do not start the car) turn on the radio and leave it on for anywhere between 1 - 3hrs untill it prompts you for a code.

There is a internal timer which adds time depending on how many times the code is entered wrongly.

Do not start the car, or turn off the ignition or radio during the 1 - 3 hr period.
