turn on the player, start the radio option, go into the setup menu, tap the language tab, ON THE REMOTE press "stop, stop, 5,4,3,2,1" This will bring up the secret menu, you do not need to connect the pink wire

We just bought an Accelevision ZDP15 Super Compact
Well not saying this is the case for this radio but they usualy come with some pretty standard wiring colors. I have listed the most common colors and there usual function. Again this is a pretty general list and may not be 100% accurate for your application. Hope it helps.

I have a dvd/cd stereo and it is asking me to
you need to install a toggle switch run one terminal to a ground wire or any metal grounded to the car and hook the pink wire to the other terminal. flick the switch off and on a couple of times to bypass the warning screen.
I can't get the DVD out of my car's Audiovox
if you have it out of your dashboard then it will be easy. there should be 4 screws or less holding the top together, unscrew them, and you will see your disc, then look for a white spiral screw that is connected to a cog wheel, turn with your hand, and you will see the dvd eject.
The front (small) LCD is not working.
the problem is that the tiny light bulb that lights the display has burned out, remove the top panel of deck and look behind the display there u will find a miniature bulb, it is called the LCD back-light illumination bulb. U can buy a replacement from radio shack most likely or any electronics supply store
VM9512 with Laptop
It can be displayed through the AUX input on the jensen, you just have to find all the right adapters for your lap top.
Need help with brake bypass
you have to connect the wire that supose to go in the brake switch on the grounded side of that switch, now what color the wire is? it depends what brand and model of stereo you have
