Reinstall the wireless driver. go to device manager and expand the device tree. highlight the wireless card and delete. do not check the box to remove the drivers. right click computer at top of the tree and click scan for hardware changes. It will re-find your device and install the drivers. Re-add to the network.

This sounds like a safety feature coming in to play. a likely cause is possible overheating. Overheating can be the direct result of dust/fluff build up in the fan, located in the bottom case of the machine. Try blowing out the dust with canned air. Often the fans can be somewhat difficult to get to requiring a complete strip down of the laptop. Perhaps you woudl be wise to take it to someone who knows what they are doing.

try removing the ram and puting it back , it may work ;)

If the blue screen has something related with a memory failure on it ..may be a hard disk read error ..and caused by the wrong setting in the Bios setting ..first try to press f10 to get into Bios on start ..select advanced settings and under the Hdd 0 ..look if the ahci setting is on ..If it is disable it ..and select the bus to run ide compatible ..or sata as ide ..if available ..After that save with F10 and yes to confirm and restart ..If the system is not corrupted this will make it boot proper...If the blue screen stays on ..and has no error written on it ...means it is a file missing on windows and prevent it booting proper..and in this case use the recovery partition or disk to reinstall the operation system ..If it has a recovery partition .press the boot menu key written on first screen ..right the way after start ..and under the boot menu select the recovery of the operation system ...If it does not have a recovery partition use the disk if you have one ..and choose the boot from cd /dvd in the same menu boot ..If non of these are available ..just use a boot-able cd with the operation system ..and reinstall the operation system from scratch ..Format C drive during the operation in NTFS quick ..and reinstall all drivers when you finish .remember to store all the drivers before ...cause you will not be able to connect to the internet without the lan driver at least ..Also you will have to download and install the programs you normally use..If you do not have an Operation system disk ..you can download an image with the operation system from a torrent site..and burn it on a disk using Nero ..This will make a boot-able disk .The drivers are all available on the support site of the manufacturer ..just go to HP.com and select support ..driver downloads..and select the exact model and operation system and download them all . Hello.The most common reason for this problem is memory. They could be slightly loose or faulty.Disconnect all cables. Flip over the laptop and unlock and remove the battery.Remove the memory cover. Remove and reinsert (on a slant) the memory module(s). Replace cover and battery.Power on again.If the problem persists, a memory module could be faulty. Make sure the wifi card is installed and after that look for the wireless enable button ..It should be somewhere near the wireless indicator led..or ..sometimes it is hidden on the edge of the front side..Just press and the led should be blue when it is enabled or red if it is disabled..Another way ..is just check in the device manager for the card to be installed and without any warning signs ..(right click on computer aka my computer ...and select properties and hardware and device manager or select directly device manager for windows 7 ..)in there look under network ..and if the wireless card is present and not having an ask sign in yellow it means it is functional ..click right on it ..and select enable ..or ..close the manager and go to network places...and select the wireless connection ..and click right on it ..and select enable ..This will be equivalent of pressing the external enable button ..It should make it present in the notification area..and you can select the network after making a scan for them ..If nothing works..go to the hp support / downloads..select your model ..and operation system ..and download again the wireless card driver ..run it and restart it ..This should make it functional ..but also you have to check if it is enabled..lets hope is js a matter of pressing the button and make it functional ..Good luck ..!

To initialize some notebook webcams, moving the mouse arrow/cursor to the far left of the screen activates a hidden webcam control panel in which the webcam can be activated by clicking.

(My) Computer > right click on the camera icon at the bottom of the window (scroll down if necessary)> send to > Desktop (create shortcut) > double click on the new desktop webcam icon.

If there is still a problem with the webcam, it might be a webcam driver problem.

Reinstall the webcam drivers and software > restart the computer > reconnect the webcam > (My) Computer > right click on the camera icon at the bottom of the window (scroll down if necessary)> send to > Desktop (create shortcut) > double click on the new desktop webcam icon. If this does not work it may be faulty and should be returned under warranty. If there is no warranty or the warranty period has elapsed, you might need to buy a new webcam component which can be ordered from HP Support Parts Store site:

If you referring to an external usb based mouse...you try to use and the computer does not see it ...In this case your mouse need a driver .. for it ..or ..usually all mouse are installed automatically by the system ..all you have to do is insert the mouse and restart the laptop ..and make it work ..Try it ..and if the laptop will not install the driver for the mouse automatically ..Look in the device manager and see which driver is missing and may cause it ..another way to install the mouse is to run the add new hardware wizard from control panel ..select already added if it does not find the device right the way ..and guide it for the mouse you already add..if it is a usb mouse..try to use another port in case in this one is not seen ..Also you may take a look on the driver download and see if you installed all drivers ...you may need a usb driver for it ..here is the support site link ..http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=2093&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=3795238#N728

This is a setting issue ..and it is from the audio driver..When you plug the headphones it is normal to cut out the general sound..and work only on the headphones..But in the moment you unplug them a window should appear to ask you to select the 2 speaker out or laptop mode..If this do not appear it means some changes were made in the settings of the sound manager and this is the cause ..basically you force it to headphone mode...but after a few restarts it sees the there is no jack plugged and ask for the normal mode again or takes it automatically ..Try to reinstall the audio driver ..this should fix any issues related with it ..If the thing goes on ..it may be the case of a damaged plug on the headphones out-let ..basically does not detects the jack being unplugged ..and you have to see whats wrong ..or change the plug if you think its necessary ..Or just plug and unplug a few times when you remove it ..maybe the contact its poor ..and does not sense the action being done ..if you do not have the driver see this one http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=2093&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=3795238#N952be sure you select teh operation system you have in use before downloading ..
