shop cost here is 1274.00,which it says they use a timing chain kit.Takes 9.1 hours to do job and 86.00 per hour,Dealer is about 100.00 per hour.It says 509.00 for parts,the do it yourselfer is 426.00

How to change oil pump 2009 traverse Remove timing chain cover and timing chain. Replace pump. Buy a shop manual for step by step. It's a HUGE job--over 14 hours for a pro.
