lost drive on audi automatic gearbox check for proper atf fluid levels, also check the fluid for metal sediments/debris and color should be pink, possible worn bands; transmission needs rebuilt

a4 2.8 automatic 4 speed gearbox car only selects 1,2,3 and reverse. and stays in third gear unless car is switched off then it starts from first gear the car needs a tranny rebuild.
