LG VX8300 Cellular Phone "dim put hair dryer" Questions

dim even if I ajust brightness and do an on/off and 'reset settings'. Any idea how to fix this one? Paul Use a hair dryer and blow into the phone. DO NOT put the heat on else the phone may get toasted
