Honeywell HZ519 Baseboard Heater "fixing tip switch" Questions

fixing my HZ519 baseboard heater, i tried the banging on it when it wouldnt work as suggested in this thread and saw sparks inside, i have no star driver so i flipped the heater over and took a hammer

The heater/power won't switch on anymore Used to be able to flip the switch a bunch of times until it finally switched on. How can I fix this? I have a heater unit that tipped over now it won't heat ...
