Haynes repair manual shows no electrical diagram of cruise control on 98 vw cabrio. Fuse lay out shows no fuses for cruise at all. Most cruise controls have a constant 12v, a switched 12v, signal gen or magnets with pick up coils for pulses. Also brake & clutch switches & a vacuum. I need a schematic and any pointers you may have on this system.

cruise control . have no fuse , always have problem with canceling ring ( under steering wheel) this need to check with VAS for which fualt stored . some if time the radio have problem repair it before you do the cruise . trans. have small bolt 10mm under for ATF level (LNK tool) remove out if littil come out that;s ok on level or fil until come out . AFT have K/M limited some 90 000 k/m or 120 000 or long lif ( special)

"my daughters 1998 vw cabrio has a top that won\'t go up or down. i need to find the fuse for it. i know it\'s not the motor or hydrylics i have already checked those out. so that leaves the button or the fuse... but i don\'t have a diagram for the fuse box. Please help. "

Best thing is to get another one from a junkyard make sure get it from a car that matches yours also
