All we can do is guess. are you willing to just throw parts at this since parts are pretty expensive. I would recommend 02 sensor sight unseen or get it diagnosed properly to be sure

My Daihatsu Terios kid 4wd kissmark 2006 is consuming too much fuel at 7-9km per litre. What's problem and remedy

There could be several reasons why your Daihatsu Terios is consuming too much fuel. Here are some possible causes and remedies.Driving habits: Your driving habits could be the cause of the high fuel consumption. Aggressive driving, speeding, and rapid acceleration can all increase fuel consumption. To remedy this, try driving more conservatively and avoid sudden stops and starts. Tire pressure: Low tire pressure can increase fuel consumption. Make sure your tires are properly inflated to the recommended pressure levels. Air filter: A dirty air filter can cause the engine to work harder and burn more fuel. Replace your air filter regularly to keep it clean and functioning properly. Fuel injectors: Dirty or clogged fuel injectors can cause the engine to burn more fuel. Have your fuel injectors cleaned or replaced if necessary. Oxygen sensor: A malfunctioning oxygen sensor can cause the engine to burn more fuel than necessary. Have your oxygen sensor checked and replaced if needed. Spark plugs: Worn or dirty spark plugs can cause the engine to run inefficiently and burn more fuel. Replace your spark plugs regularly to keep them functioning properly. It's important to have your vehicle inspected by a qualified mechanic to determine the root cause of the high fuel consumption. By addressing the underlying issue, you can improve your vehicle's fuel efficiency and save money on gas in the long run.

My honda accord 2003 has a mileage of over 75k.i just got it second hand and its fuel consumption is very high.i was told a sensor might be failing but when the 2 sensors were checked, they seemed to be...

Is there a smell of gasoline? My 95 accord had two spark plugs that failed or at least not firing correctly. Change plugs back to old plugs and the problem disappeared.

Hello, my benz 1994 does not want to accelerate from stationary, it moves well when i get it to accelerate, but from a stop it take a lot to get it to move. when the car is stationary exhaust smell like it...

sounds like clogged fuel filter, Replace filter but before you do run a bottle of STP gas treatment or injector cleaner. The fuel treatment is dual purpose, it'll also clear out any water/moisture in fuel system. This time of year with big swings in temperatures, condensation forms in fuel tanks and that could be an issue w/your Benz

Hi i have a 318i bmw 2001 my fuel consumption is

Last month, my wife complained of high gas usage as well. I suddenly remembered that I had forgotten to change the air filter the last time I did the oil change. It had been over 5 months since I'd put a new one in. So, we got a new air filter, and monitored the usage, and it was back to normal again. Maybe try this?

try the air filter first and the intake.the spark plugs then and after all go to a garage for checking compression timing and the head gasket.

My 2001 kia rio 1.3l consumes so much gas at about 9 kilometers per liter. I believe they can go upto 14-15 kph per liter. What should i do to minimize gas consumption?

You can over-inflate your tires by about 8%, use a K&N air filter, drive 15 kph slower on the highway, accelerate slowly and never accelerate uphill, draft behind larger vehicles, regular maintenance (oil changes, spark plugs, wires, filters), use a fuel system cleaner every oil change. These can increase your fuel economy drastically, but if you are still noticing poor fuel economy you should have the car checked by a mechanic for what might be causing the high fuel consumption.

i hope this helps
