I have replaced the battery and starter. Everything lights up correctly when I turn the keep and all I get is a click.
Titen battnstartr cables..is it at fullcharge
If your saying the starter motor won't crank, I agree with the other person, make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. There are two voltage circuits at the starter motor, one comes from the battery, hot all the time. The other circuit goes hot with key in the crank position and is routed through a neutral switch and starter relay. Use a test light or digital multimeter and check for voltage on those circuits. The starter motor should ground through the engine block. Any testing at starter motor, make sure tranny is in park or neutral and parking brake is set. You can also, check field terminal for voltage, on one end of solenoid is a cable that goes down into the starter body, sometimes it has a protective rubber boot, sometimes it doesn't, Use a test lite or something and check for voltage on that cable, key in crank position. If nothing there, the problem is before the test point. As far as voltage and ground, you should have done this testing before replacing anything. Just my opinion.
You just need replace the starter solenoid my friend. That's your only problem. The solenoid is clicking, but not putting power to its other side that runs power to the starter.

Even though I bought the vehicle new, there was an aftermarket security system installed. The system had a bad diode, so i removed the system and reconnected the factory wires.
SOURCE: No start condition
It sounds as if it could be the neutral safety switch. have you tried to start it in neutral instead of park?? If it starts in neutral just have the neutral safety switch replaced. I hope this helps.

First, make sure you can turn the engine by hand. If you can't then the starter can't turn it either. Have someone else turn the key and look for the source of the click...may be a relay. Go over the starting circuit with a volt meter. Check for power at the starter main terminal and then with the key turned to "start" check for power at the trigger terminal on the starter. Check battery voltage and check relay operation.
You have a neutral safety switch on the transmission if its an automatic and a clutch switch if it's a stick. Check them as well. Make sure battery grounding on fender and block are also clean and secure.

Used parts such as starters and altinators don't last. It might **** but it sounds like you need to buy a new starter, altinator, and battery. Or just start with buying one at a time.
