the oil filter is between the firewall and the engne, you get to it from under the car, stick a screwdriver through it and turn to remove, smear the new seal with oil and replace hand tight.after filling with oil start engine and check for leaks.
The oil filter is located on the back side of the motor on the passengers side. It's really hard to see from the top, but as long as the motor is cool you should be able to feel it.The easiest way is from under the car. You may need to lift it first. Just lay down under the car, behind the passengers tire, and you"ll see the oil pan right above there, going up a foot or two should be the oil filter.
It is an internal filter. It is located in the oil pan. It has a cap on the oil pan that almost looks like you can take it off with your hand. Chances are however you cant. You can change it yourself with the correct size oil filter wrench. I wish I could tell you what size it was but I use a strap wrench to take it off. Most places sell the filter. Fram # is Ch8765.
You cannot change the filter unless you have access to a lift or pit. It is located on the back of the engine, recessed above the front axle. I took mine to a friends garage and even with the car raised, it still took a filter wrench on an extension bar to get to it. It is impossible to reach it if all you have is a jack or ramps in the driveway.
front of the engine. on top. If you cant find the filter, what makes you qualified to change the oil. With the money it took to buy a car like this, why get cheap? Be sure to use the correct oil, motor oil is special for that car.
The same as you would in almost any other car. Crawl underneath (easier done with car jacked up a little). Locate the drain plug on the oil pan (cant remember which side its on.) remove it and let the oil drain. Then locate and remove the oil filter. Wipe a some oil on the rubber seal of the new filter so it can seat a little better. Replace the drain plug, pop the hood, open the oil fill cap on the valve cover and 4 or 5 quarts of 5w/30 NOT 10w/30.
From under the car, it's located on the passenger side of the motor.
It is straight up and down (well close, therre is a slight angle) towards the back of the block.
