Have the multi-misfire code(P0300). changed plug and wire set. replaced the fuel filter. did a flush. cleaned the throttle body. adjusted the idler. it is running rough still. same code. when picking up speed it is a rough shake, when slower a rough idle. lose random raddled in the steering still mis-firing. what else can i do, without having to take it to a mechanic.

Not much you can do without troubleshooting the problem. It could be a crank sensor, ignition module, low fuel pressure, a vac leak, or a list of other things.
Usually if you have a sensor problem you will get a check engine light, but not always.

Any sensor or electrical component that acts up should set a code. Are you getting a check engine light ?

I would lean towards the ignition module or a fuel problem if you don't have any codes other than the 300 random miss.

There could be something clogging up the screen in the gas tank.

SOURCE: 2000 Camry 4 cyl 2.2L.

sounds like you have a problem with the spark the coil may be on its way out or there may be oil in the spark plug holls shorting out the spark.
your best bet is to pull the leads out 1 at a time and and look down and check for oil if there is oil there get a new rocker cover gasket.
if no oil refit plug leads loosely and start the car remove one lead at a time slowly and look at the spark cumming out the end off the lead is it blue? if so it is ok if it is yellow and dull you have a coil problem. also check that the spark is only coming out the end of the lead as it may be coming out the side of the lead and shorting to earth,
you can do this by slowly moving the lead around the top of the spark plug holl and see were the spark is coming from

be carfull no to shock your self as it hearts like hell

good luck

You never replace anything, on a Wishing,Hoping,Pushing,Poking, diagnostic approach

You learn the vehicles Systems,Test, then Replace,if you have a failed component.

Work on the Misfire Issues.
Then you lean O2 Codes will go away.

Not a the plugs.

Think lean---Vacuum leaks,EGR Valve leak,EVAP System leaks, anything with a hose that lets air into the intake system.
Exhaust System leaks,near sensors

We put a tester on my 1999 blazer and it came up 1 code P0300???? gettin a seconed opion

p0300 is a random misfire, which usually indicates almost anything-generally a good tune up will fix it, like new wires, plugs, clean the throttle body, dist cap/rotor, check charging system, check fuel pressure, replace fuel filter...it is random (usually fuel) but a good going-over by a decent and honest mechanic will fix it.

What does a major tune up for a 2004 chevy impala consist of? What should be done and needs to be done?

New spark plugs, oil and oil filter, transmission flush and fill, fuel filter, air filter, coolant flush and fill, clean throttle body plate and bore, clean the MAF sensor, replace any loose or cracked vacuum lines, PCV valve, new air filter, new battery.

99% of the time all you should ever need for a tune up is new spark plugs, and a clean air filter and throttle body. But since your inquiry indicated "major" I gave it more critical thought.

06 Hyundai Azera error code p0300, car ran rough at first then ok , check engine came on, Dealer put fuel injector cleaner in it. had problem a year ago and dealer said problem was accellerator pedal...

P0300 is a random misfire detected, and it would cause me to do a good tuneup-clean the throttle body, air filter, fuel filter, plugs, plug wires (if it has them), oil change (just because)-fuel injector cleaner is voodoo and the dealer proved that he did not know what was wrong when he did that in my opinion-while there is nothing wrong with throwing in a bottle of injector cleaner once in a while, it is NOT going to fix a misfire problem-that is probably an ignition issue that may be confounded by a bad fuel filter/air filter or leaking injector o-ring.

Misfire in 97 voyager,P0300 and P0304,HELP! Need 2 get inspection

I'd have fuel pressure checked, and at the very least, replace fuel filter. Not unusual to get multiple misfire codes due to low fuel pressure, thus starving cylinder(s), and causing the misfire code(s).

I keep getting a P0300 diagnostic code on my 1996 chevy corsica what could be the cause for this

its a random misfire if it had a number at end instead of 0 e.i. 1 that would indicate number 1 cylinder misfired/ but 300 with no other codes can be multi reasons check spark plugs and wires--coils--clogged injectors--fuel filter--fuel pump--bag gas(water) partial clog cat converter these are a few but best to start with plugs &wires
