Your ABS system has detected a fault in the system. When that happens, the TC is automatically turned off. You will have to have the ABS diagnosed and repaired before the TC will come on again.
Good luck.
The protection light comes on when a wire is crossed, shorted, loose, etc. Check your wires, and then double check them, at the amp, and from the head unit, you may have a short or loose connection. If you have any kind of Y adapter on your RCA cables, this could also cause this problem.
It could also mean your amp is dead. If this is the case, get it serviced.
Try and get the bike on a center stand or have a friend hold it for you. Looking underneath, you will see where the stand (in the down position) is pressing a small cylinder type micro switch up to tell the electrics the stand is down. You will also see all the grease from the chain sitting on it (cause of your problem!). Retract the stand so the switch pops out, clean all the muck of it and whack some graphite based lubricant on it...Problem fixed! The bike wont think the stand is down all the time....
