That was 2 days ago Did you have the battery tested What have you done so far We can only guess here at basic things one would check in a similar situation

If the engine turns over fast you check for spark & injector pulse Wouldn't a repair shop help be a good suggestion?

Did the battery fail?

Won't start or only clicks or does nothing
else?

Does the engine turn over fast or nothing?

SOURCE: car dies at idle

I think a top end cleaning would be of value to you.

1. Remove inlet hose and clean with carb spray
2. Start car and rev up to about 2,000 rpm and feed more carb spray for a moment or two. It may not even want to run without a fight when you are doing this part.
3. With engine running, open throttle (wide open throttle) and hold hand over inlet and then take your hand away and allow it to flow again and release the throttle. Don't over rev it, you just want to create a vacuum state in the intake that will remove carbons, etc. Do this open throttle and cork it with your hand about 6-8 times. Then reassemble anything you took apart.

This trick removes stubborn gunk in the intake by loosening it with carb spray first and creating a vacuum to dislodge it. Expect a little black smoke when doing this trick.

SOURCE: 94 CROWN VICTORIA FUEL PUMP

Yes you can replace it. It is in the fuel tank. You will need to drain the tank and remove it to gain access to the fuel pump. A floor jack will help when lowering the fuel tank. If you fo to a dealer to do this you will be looking probably around $700.00 to replace the pump.

I have a 1990 Crown Victoria LTD, it started sputtering at low speed. Then stalled and won't start now. Any ideas?

You will have to start a diagnosis. Starting with the small test then on to others. 1. Getting gas to carberator 2. Pull coil wire and verify firing.

Installed a fuel pump in a 1995 Crown Victoria Ford and still can't get fuel

Is there power to the pump? Have you checked the relay? Is there fuel pressure regulator working? If not, it won't provide the efficient amount of fuel pressure. Replacing the fuel filter is a good idea as well.
