thanks for the advice. well, it turns out that the mechanic i go to is not a good one when it comes to beetle issues. first i was told it is the crank sensor, then after a week it's the magnectic coil and now... i really don't know what's wrong. i have to look for a new mechanic for my beetle. thank you!!!

Your question seems strange to me

You replace a fuse one time only

If it blows a second time, you need to
in most case ,go to wiring diagrams
to see what could cause the fuse problem
in that circuit

Changing any part for no reason & I'm referring
to not testing it first, to see if it even failed or needs
to be replaced,makes no sense

Your feeling bad for a material thing,a piece of sheet metal !

Get to the real world & real issue

Have the car properly diagnosed by someone who actually
knows something about Beetles

Testimonial: "yeah! thanks for the quick reply! i just have to look for another mechanic. god bless"

Ignition coil fuse blowing when key turned on

My 2006 chevy impala, keeps blowing the horn fuse

horns are only a magnetic coil actuated by a set of points that make and break a circuit at a rapid speed there by vibrating a tin disc that produces the noise we hear. If it continually blows the fuse then the coil is shorting out (probably rusted) and the answer is to buy a new horn.

My 2000 VW Beetle's Ac stopped working. It doesnt blow any air out at all. Also the break light and the ABS lights are on. The ABS came on after the breaks got changed. The Break light is blinking and...

Sounds like you have some electrical gremlins that have moved in...

Since the fan does not even come on, and the fuses keep blowing. It sounds like the resistor pack for the blower motor could have failed, or a wire is shorted somewhere.

The ABS could simply be a wire, or sensor that was carelessly overlooked to be plugged back in when the breaks were done. Or it could be more serious.

99 vw jettal 2.0 gas fuse 29 15amp fuse keeps blowing-no spark unpluged coil and fuse keeps blowing. help please

Thats the fuse for the ECU, engine control module, and is a 15amp for gas 2.0. i would locate the ECU which is under the center of the plenum in the engine compartment and disconnect the long plug. Check for green discoloration on the multipin connector. Sometimes moisture will get in there and short some of the pins together. Leave ECU unplugged and replace the fuse. If it still blows cause is between the fuse and the ECU.

The fuse for the horn keeps blowing. Any reason

Most common problem is the ground that the horn connects to wit the bolt is rusted and causes it to pull to much amperage so clean the contact first then if it still blows the fuse then the horn relay or the horn may be going bad.over time the horn gets junk in it and causes the coil to overheat and causes it to burn out. Horns cost $15.00 for a new horn and are easy to change. I doubt the relay is bad but it is always possible.

My air conditioner lights stopped working and soon after air stopped blowing, could it be a fuse?

it could be a fuse.
allthough it could be freon out or something wrong with the compressor or compressor clutch or maybe the belt is missing.

if the blower stopped blowing air then the blower motor fuse or blower motor itself has gone out.

look around in the paper for ac checks for free.
goto about 2 or 3 to be sure there telling you the same thing .
be sure to ask them to point and show and explain to you exactly whats the problem.
[email protected]
you can contact me with what they say and i can help you decide on whats right and whats wrong.
keep me posted
thank you
