I have a 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette Premier. I love this car, but it is really starting to have some issues! The most recent is that it is difficult to start. I have to press the gas pedal, then turn the key and then there is a very strong fuel smell. Once running, it runs fine. Any ideas what is causing this?

Maybe you have head gaskets problem the eassy way is remube the spark plugs if you see 1or more spark plug .whith no carbon or very clean.you need the head waskets

Loosen the 2 air cleaner intake duct clamps from the Mas Airflow sensor and the throttle body. Disconect Intake Air Temperature sensor connector.
Disconnect the vent tube from the air cleaner intake duct. Disconnect Mas Airflow Sensor electrical connector. Unlatch the air cleaner cover clips and remove the air cleaner intake duct and air cleaner cover.
Change the filter and reinstall.
The first thing i would check is all 4 abs sensors at the wheels.You can do this with a volt meter set on ac voltage and spin the wheel if it generates voltage at all on the meter its good.
