According to my information, your car has an external voltage regulator, meaning it is NOT part of the alternator. I would check to see if it has failed.

Alternator was not charging battery so I replaced the alternator it still is not charging my battery

A connection/connector, wiring, fuses, fusible links etc. can cause a no charge. Check the charging voltage at the cable coming out of the alternator. Make sure the input voltage is good ( field voltage ) into the alternator also.

The alternator is not charging the battery on my 2002 Alero, how do I fix this?

a bad battery would give a wrong judgement of an alternator output. take off your battery and replace with a working one, test your alternator output using a DMM it should read about 12.5 when engine off and 14v when engine start running any figure more or less shows you have a bad alternator or an incorrect input current to the alternator....hope this fixxx it?

1998 Ford Explorer 5.0 battery won't charge,

Probably because your Battery is Bad... Try Charging and LOAD TESTING our battery and then if the battery tests good, Test your Alternator and see if it is charging properly.

Maybe when you installed the New Alternator, you missed a connection or have too many wires on one connector... You have have to take some pics to see what is going on.

Why would my battery not be charging, already changed the alternator and battery and still it is giving a low amp possible wiring? Old alternator tested and it is fine and installed a new one and still not...

find out if the voltage regulator is built in the alternator,

if not find it and test it.

If it is, it could be bad plugs for the alternator or bad wiring in the charging circut
