ECU failure is very rare. Sounds to me like you need to take it to a mechanic that has the knowledge as your guy is blaming things that he does not understand.

take it to a dealership this car has a recall to check the engine for noise and replacement is does not pass the process tests it is campaign 132 per Hyundai if it has been performed and passed Hyundai will still check engine issues and make possible goodwill repairs BUT this is speculation until know problem with engine/car has been diagnosed

There are a few things that could be wrong, best thing to do is, wait until they check your vehicle and go from there. If you have a scan tool, posting the codes you find would help us to assist you.

It could be something else but this is a 2011, There pretty much right on with the codes now a days. The pressure sensor for the manifold shouldn't be that hard or expensive to replace. Unfortunately is an electrical part, that's the biggest problem. Good Luck
