I can turn the radio on on my Volvo S90. Could you tell me how to enter the code on a Volvo S90 1998?.

You need to enter the security code!

check radio has permant power try the fuse board or a fuse at back of radio if all ok you will prob need to enter security code

Try keeping your key in the ignition and click it on the first click let it stay in there for about 3 hours or until it goes back to code sometimes it may take longer. You can drive that long too but your car can not be cut off. Hope this helps for you.

There is no easy solution for this one. However, there are two things that should get you jiving again. 1. Go through the hand book and see if the Code number is there. Many folks write it there so they don't forget. The second solution will require you to contact your main Volvo Dealer. They should have the codes in thier computer records.

Before calling them you need to arm yourself with the following: Make and model of the vehicle : Index Number (I think you would say Licence Plate): VIN Number (Vehicle Identification Number) which usually can be be found either on the drivers door panel or under the Bonnet (Hood) and who is the registered owner. If that's you then thats Okay.

When you call ask for the Service Department who will look up your car and all its codes and pin numbers will be there. The only drawback however would be if the radio has ever been replaced.
If it is a genuine Volvo Radio then a quick look for the serial number would help too.

Depending on the unit, there can be a fuse behind the radio check this. If the fuse is there and ok you'll need to check the power feed to the unit using a multimeter.

Pull it out it is written on top of the radio

Start with getting the fault codes checked! My guess is a bad ignition coil or a vacuum leak, but they are guesses. A little diagnosis is required before replacing any parts!
