Can someone tell me where there are free wiring diagrams for under the dashboard of a 2000 saturn sc series, so i can re-wire my power windows and door locks?

go to one of the big auto parts chains like advance auto part, they have a small ,but what your looking for under wiring diagrams ,i have the whole diagram for 2000 xlt explorer and focus sc 2000 from a pay for download site ! cheap too you can pick your section and print ,then just lay printings out in order and you can find anything [color codes and numbered wires ] right from each fuse or relay out to every part in car ! i dont have them right now in front of me ,to give you site url. ,but if above doesn't do it for you ,i,ll look for folder and send you the url. so let me know if the above works for you.

Then pick the system (engine, brakes, lighting, etc.) and the subsystem if applicable. Every circuit on your car! You just have to keep returning to search page, and enter vehicle info again to see another system or subsystem.

Most auto parts stores carry Haynes Manuals. You can order them from Haynes if needed. Or...often they are carried in your local library.

I have done Ford and Toyota clutches using these books. Clutch replacement is not hard, just time consuming...And easier if you have a lift.

Note: If like many vehicles, don't forget to replace the engine rear main seal while you have access with the fly wheel off.

You can call Haynes and ask specifically if the book covers the repair you are attempting. I have called them to get more specific wiring diagrams not always provided with the books. Very helpful in providing tech data... I have a Haynes manual for all my vehicles...makes maintenance and repair much easier than researching every I need to do something to my vehicles.

How do you know its the hot wire?? Did you try the fuse panel first for blown fuse? Also you can use a volt meter to test for power of the radio.

the starter is at the bottom back of the engine (aft of oil filter), it goes into the transmission bell housing, go to link for video of job on your car.
