I have a 2000 lincoln town car that is not getting fuel to start it. When I spray fast start it starts and dies. Could it be a PCM Relay ? Fuses ae all ok

check fuses and relays --check inertia switch --test fuel pump and circuit

possible , but I suggest running the fault codes first as the problem could be a crank/cam position sensor, immobilizer or ignition control module or fuse

Could be the EEC relay, or the fuses for that relay or the PCM relay.
Have you checked those fuses for power ?

Try replacing the fuel pump relay

The fuel pump only comes on for 2 seconds when the switch is turned on until the engine starts.Have you checked for spark at any of the sparkplugs?

IF FUEL FILTER GOOD.CHECK FUEL PUMP FUSE AND RELAY.IF ALL IS GOOD.FUEL PUMP COULD BE FAULTY.

It sounds like you may have a faulty PCM(powertrain control module).

yes the teft light will stop the vehicle from running. that is the pats system and can cause all sorts of trouble. if the light flashes fast its not reading the key. no start. if it turns on for two seconds and shuts off the it should start

check the fuel shut off switch in the trunk

try restting the inertia switch in the trunk. When you turn key to "ON", the fule pump will run for only 5 seonds if the engine does not start. Listen at the fuel tank for humming of the pump. The PCM, Powertrain Control Module controls the fuel pump relay. So, when you turn key on, the power relay powers up the PCM and the PCM powers up the fuel pump relay.
