It is pretty easy to pick a car lock. You need a flat tool to slide in between the door an the window at catches the lever to unlock the door. However you risk damageing the car, so it is probsbly easier to call a car locksmith. It will cost you around 50 bucks

check this video if you decide to pick your lock:

My Prius will not lock with remote control. Locks apply and reopen immediately in my prius

Check for one of the door-open switches to be misadjusted. If the door ajar lamp is lit, the remote locking system will not work. Also check that a second key-fob is not inside the car. The smart locking system will not allow you to accidentally lock the key fob inside the car and will cycle the lock back to the unlocked position immediately if the fob is sensed by the inside-the-car sensor(s).

1994 z71 truck key stuck in acc position will not turn to be removed can turn key to start, truck runs ok remove ignition fuse to turn off is the key lock Solenoid on the coloum the issue

The ignition lock cylinder is worn out. after so much use, the brass key and tublers inside the lock wears due to filings that build up inside of the lock. When too much filings builds up, it makes the tumbler pins hang up inside. the upper portion needs to be disassembled to replace the lock cylinder. And of course, you will have a different key overall for your new ignition lock Good luck..

Key stuck in my back door lock of my car

First you need to take the inside panel off of your door. Then there is a clip holding your key lock in place which you need to remove and pop out the lock. Take the outer case apart and slowly remove the broken key without damaging the tumblers.

Hi I would suggest you ring the Automobile association, and see whether one of their mobile mechanics can solve your problem. extracting a car key from the barrel may be more difficult than it appears. He, the mobile man may have done it before and have the right tools for the problem.
