2007 RDX Trunk won't open. Pressed remote twice (like I've always done in the past) but can't get it to open. Took to the dealer and he tried it and it opened. Began working again and worked for about a week but this morning am unable to get it open. I have some boxes in the trunk. Could it be that they are interferring with the latch? [email protected]

Dealer reset may be needed

Transmission fluid runs through a radiator to cool it. You prabably have a leak on teh inside of the radiator. Better get to you local Acura dealer ASAP

First things first...replace the cheaper part first, the battery. It that works, great! If not, then you may need a new key fob then have it programed to your system.

have a chat with the dealer about this,I am not up to speed on these electronic theft systems..my fotay is the older cars and such..

Typical failure with the Nissan Versa,You need to find a auto electrician that is willing to go to the passenger side where the lock and unlock for the trunk module is located and and jump the wire together,This solves the problem forever, other than that the module needs to be replaced and yes you better make it a hobby it always fails

Lower the back seat and crawl into the trunk and see what the latch is doing when you activate the key fob. the trunk lid will have to be open to enable any repairs. Also an emergency release cable is probably visible (yellow handle) inside the trunk and will Open the trunk lid.

First, if it does need an actuator, you can save some money on labor getting it done at an idependent aftermarket shop rather than the dealer. Yes, the part will most likely have to come from the dealer, but let the shop deal with that. You do not have to pay dealership labor rates. It would pay to shop around.

Second, before any parts are purchaced, the actual CAUSE of the problem needs to be verified. Unfortunately, the ONLY way to do that is to get the trunk lid open and inspect the trunk lid latch components. If none of the three methods provided by the manufacturer for opening the trunk in a normal fashion will work, the trunk will have to be accessed by removing the back seat. Once the back seat is removed, a technician can reach into the trunk and remove the bolts that secure the trunk latch to get the trunk open. The latch parts can then be accessed to disassemble, inspect, and repair accordingly.

Please note that this is the ONLY way to do this without causing further damage to the vehicle. DO NOT allow anyone to attempt getting into the trunk any other way! (Do not use pry bars or screwdrivers on the trunk lid, key tumblers, etc..)

Checked the glove side button, tried to press all the buttons still won't work. What could be the possible problem that the truck won't open? There is no manual key way to open the trunk which now sounds ridiculous!! Please help!!

It is entirely possible that the unlock button on the remote is worn such that it is not making contact. I've seen this happen many times, as the unlock button is pressed so much more than lock. You might try to reprogram the remote first before you look into getting a new remote. The procedure goes like this. Close and lock all doors Key in and out of the ignition 6 times, hazard lights should flash twice Turn key into accessory or on position Unlock and lock doors with drivers switch Press lock or unlock on remote Hazards should flash again to verify recognition turn key off  manually unlock door and then open and shut it.  you should then be able to test remote. 
The key to the procedure is doing step two quickly Hope this helps, if not you may need another remote or see dealer.
