The motor continuously turns, it doesn't stop and back up. If your wipers got iced or stuck, they may have loosened the pivot nuts. Lift both wiper arms up off of the windsheild and then see if the wipers move correctly. If they do, shut off the wipers to let them "park." Loosen the nuts under the plastic cap at the base of the wiper arm, and set each arm to the park position, and then tighten the nut. These are made to slip so the motor doesn't get destroyed.

How do you remove a windshield wiper motor on a 1999 saturn sc2

first you will need to pop out the dash top because there is 2 nuts by the bottom of the glass on the fire wall where the wiper motor is under the cowl then open the hood and remove the wiper arms and the cowl then you will have 2 or 3 bolts that hold the wiper transmisson in place and out comes the wiper moter

My windshield wipers just stopped working for my 1997 saturn sl2

Most certain that the fuse has blown out on the wiper section. So look on your fuse box for the Wiper fuse and replace with the spare available.
Now if the fuse blows out again there is short in the wiper motor , or it has jammed.
If the fuse is intact then the motor can be faulty or a possible break in the wiring.

2000 Saturn SL2 wipers stop working

it could be the wiper relay or the wiper motor could be heating up and stoping causing it to work again when it cools down either case start with relay and if that does not fix the problem replase the wiper motor

1999 Saturn SL1 wipers work but won't stop once turned on! Until you hld them down from the outside or stop them just in time with ignition SUSPECT of course wiper motor? how many windshield wiper motors...

Same problem here. Check for a short in the wiring under the dash before replacing anything. I replaced the integral switch and the motor/module assembly and yet......they keep going and going and going. After shelling out 250.00 I wished I would of investigated a little more. My problem is the black wire from the ignition switch to the splice pack/ ground terminal is burnt. and also charred about 6 other wires. 3 of which pertain to the wiper switch assembly. I don't know if this helps, but hopefully it will.

Where can I find replacement windshield wipers for Saturn SL2?

You can get the replacement wiper at almost any parts store, but if there is an Auto Zone around your area. They would have the part you need and the step by step instructions for you to get the job done with common tools and if there not busy, I am sure they would be more then happy to help you replace the wiper blades. Good luck and hope this helps

2002 saturn lw200--wiper blades dont park at bottom of windshied

You need to replace the crank arm on the motor and either replace the bracket under it or bend the tab back up on the bracket so the crank arm can contact it so the wipers stop in the right place.
