ABS warning light remains on in my car from the last few days. It initially used to come on when i drove on the motorway and exceeded 60mph, but now it always remains on even if i drive at 5mph..what could be wrong with it and where do i get it tested. I have been to a few garages but they don't have the means to test it. What could be wrong and how much could it cost

May have something stuck in your fresh air damper. Leaves, a cat...

It's wet again,never use a water hose to clean engine,get bucket of warm water,and some degreaser and a rag and wipe,then wipe again with wet rag.

Most definitely it is your alternator. Have it checked at Auto Zone Store,they will make sure that is it,besides a new battery additional.

You can remove the negative terminal of your battery which will reset the computer. This may shut the lights off. The truck will have to re-learn your driving habits and should occur after over 16 kms or so of travel!

I think your problem has sorted itself. No need to go to garage.

this is a common first sign of your antilock brake computer failing. You will most likely never feel a difference in your car but there is a slight chance all your safety features will not operate properly in a collision.

the alarm is activating when he locks it and for some reason the key or fob isnt deactivating it..check the disarm switches in the door

I had the brake light switch replaced by a local dealer. Cost was $140 and it fixed the problem. Have driven the car for two weeks since and no lights and all systems normal.
