once the engine is alligned with the trans you can put the mounts back on in whatever order you prefer.

a mechanic once told me that if i turned my key forward (i believe it's the accessory mode) but not all the way to the start position, and left it like that for 10 minutes, it would reset my computer (i have a 96 towncar)

Hi all you need to do is take the door panel/card off and refit the rod it will push into a whole and it will be held in place by a push on clip, this clip will have more than likely fell into the bottom of the door, it will be a small black metal clip that goes around the rod and holds it into the lock at the other end.

this rod tends to fall off if the door has been slammed a few times of they can just work loose.

once you have the door panel off you will see what i mean about the small metal clip, this is an easy job to do and it only requires pushing the end of the rod into its place then put the metal clip over the top then your lock will be working again.

make sure the battery is fully charged BEFORE starting, you might have a small battery drain that kills the battery over night and when you push start it, the alternator kicks in and charges it up enough thru use of the day to fool you

the fuel pump is probly bad ,its in side the tank,
its about 30- 100.00 at auto zone , and if your mech inclined at all you can replace it your self, where the dealerships charge 600,00, it only takes about an hour too do,

If its killing it self off blowing up the suspension have you checked it for leaks seeing if its just constantly blowing through a hole. Being a limousine owner my self I know if you have to much running at once such as both ACs, Music, lighting etc it does get rather upset when you ask it to power so much at once.

your door panel can come off and you can access internal door locking mechanism from inside car first inspect to see all rods are hooked into plastic sleeves then make sure lock is disengaged by pulling rod towards rear of van it should then be able to be opened easily if not your locking mechanism is frozen inside of door between a pillar and door it will have to be pushed to open from inside of door panel once you do that door will open if you cant make lock work manually once this is done replace locking mechanism or rods accordingly.
