A broken wire connection on the Tach connector to the gearbox. The ABS sensor on the hubs are out of line after a new pad/rotor brake change. Cable broken. Fuse blown in main dash fuse box. Gearbox change over recently, bad mechanic didn;t replace the sender.
2012 beetle sunroof doesn't work. The light on the controller for it doesn't light up, I'd assume the fuse is blown. What is the location, and what type of fuse do I need?
Check the battery conections for cleanlyness and tightness and the connections for the fuse. There should be no heat there. The 150 amp sound OK. Look at the connection on the starter as well.
Have you checked your fuses. Most of the cars will have a signal fuse in the fuse box a seperate signal fuse around the fuse box and a flasher fuse. So try and locate the fuses and replace them. Good luck
There's one in your Owner's Manual. You can also copy one from another person's Owner's Manual. Very little changes on the VW Beeteles from one year to the next. I can send you a copy of a 1998 fuse diagram if you can provide a valid email address (e.g. yahoo.com, gmail. com, etc.).
