Need to reset service indicator on a mercedes sprinter 311 cdi 2006

My personal suggestion would be to go for these repair catalogs. I know this website www.reliable-store that i used to get them from, and they sold online it was very good manual. Go ahead, I bet.

Yes you are right it is the flap in side the runner.

Visit the on-line store, know as reliable-store, they have the repair manuals. I'm sure you will get the solution of your problem.
2006 Mercedes

All you need to do is disconnect the battery negative side for a minute. That will reset the light but only for a short time if you did not correct the problem that is causing it. You can also take this to an Oreilly auto parts and they will hook up the diagnostics tool for free and turn it off for you.

You need to have it scanned with diagnostic equipment to find cause, repair fault & reset ecu

If you can,t find a Drain plug on the rad, If you are wanting to drain it, Take off the bottom rad hose off the (Rad)

One way I know of is this........although this may be be for an earlier year.

1) Put the Key in the # 2 position .

2) Hit the "MI" button on the dash twice .

3) Put the Key in the # 0 position (key out position) within 10 seconds of hitting the
MI Button .

4) Press the MI Button and turn the key into the # 2 position at the same time. There will be a confirmation noise .

5) Release and your all done.

fastest most reliable way to find out what parts are interchangable is to call your local wrecking/recycling/junk yard.... they have books that deal with that issue.
