HI, I have a 1997 Hyundai Sonata 2.0 GLS. I need a diagram to show me how to replace the vacuum hoses from the inlet manifold right through to the thrmo switch on the block. The Mech who was working on the car buggered it all up and I have to replace all the hoses and connectors. I don't want to pay the dealer a small fortune to do something that I can do myself. I just need to know what it should all look like. I've searched the web, but can't find anything that helps. It's the 4 cylinder 2.0 engine. G4CP or Y3, depending on who asks. Please help as I'm seriously frustrated.

There are two manifolds, Inlet Manifold and Exhaust Manifold. If it is leaking, it is likely to be the Inlet manifold and a connection to it. Add the right word to this link and there will be a video that shows it.

Nancy, There should be a vacuum hose diagram under the hood of your Sante Fe, either on the underside of hood or on the radiator support. Contact the dealer and they can print it off for you also.

Try the standard for a 6 cylinder. 153624. That's what I always use.

see the diagram attached. test the bulbs+fuse+loose wires+corroded wires+oxide, tight every wires.
