Check the oil level in the engine. If it is overfilled it can do this. Remove the spark plug and inspect it. It might be carboned up with burned oil.

The white smoke indicates the engine is burning oil from somewhere. The fuel in the air cleaner indicates pressure in the crankcase. You might have a problem with the crankcase breather letting air into the crankcase.

I think you should schedule service and get a technician to diagnose the problem with the engine.

Hope this helps to solve it (remember to rate this answer).

Why is my Toyota Landcruiser 1HZ motore missing and blowing white smoke?

Air leak in the fuel line? All the lines are pressurised to some degree.
Do you mean it was sucking air on the tank to pump side?
Because its a diesel and you have white smoke and a misfire you need specialist help to identify which injector is playing up. White smoke is usually excess fuel or incomplete firing on that cylinder. Toyota lumps are very reliable so get some help, a good diesel mechanic would have a clip on tester that would check each cylinder.
At 2002 I'm surprised there is a fuel problem but you don't give mileage so an injector is the best guess.

2005 dodge cummings has real bad miss and blows white smoke at idle and when driving

You might want to watch your coolant level. Open your radiator, fill it to full, and start the truck. If bubbles form, you might have a broken head gasket. Also, check to see how your water seperator and fuel filter are looking. But it sounds kind of like a head gasket.

I have a 1990 ford ranger xlt that blows out smoke from tailpipe its white with blue in it the mass airflow sensor doesnt do anything when un plugged it has a miss to its a 2.3 liter engine

Sounds like you have a blown head gasket - white smoke = coolant. Pull plugs and look for "steam cleaned plug" or for coolant in oil - looks milky.

Plums of white smoke coming from exhuast when accelerated

Well if you have white smoke when reving up engine then its not smoke its STEAM as you have been lossing coolant by the sound of it (yes) or no,,,,IF yes then you have done a head gasket or something else which
is letting in coolant to the cylinders and when it fires it blowes it out the hot exhaust and causes steam ,, as the only other way to get white smoke could be burning brake fluid/ or kerro.
So does your engine get hot /loosing coolant/missing when running ///any of these will cause your problem.
Let me know how you get on ,, Ron
