1999 mercury villager, where is the cam sensor located and how do i change it?

cam sensor is in distributor, not serviceable. 1999 is noted for failing cam sensors. Usually runs good cold, then gets worse after warm till it fails all together.
Buy Rich Porter reman on ebay for $200 to get a good one.

Where is a knock sensor for 2000 mercury villager located?

It is under the lower intake manifold in the valley of the engine. You must remove the cross over coolant tube to gain access to the knock sensor. It bolts into the cylinder head. Good luck
