Hi expert, My daewoo matiz 2000 model car gets heated immediately after run for about 10 minutes and coolant leakage is also very much as Rats have made house in my car and frequently I face this problem and each time I have take to garage to replace either coolant pipe, gasket, radiator hos pipes etc., How to keep these rats away from the car. Please help

If your car has a radiator then it is coolant and engine runs at approx 35deg as it works the thermostat witch controls the water flow through the radiator AND your engine is running to hot, OR you have a blown head gasket witch will cause the same problem also check that the radiator isent blocked from the outside [like paper etc] or inside like dirt as some people fill with water from a dam etc.

On this model it's part of the distributor you can replace the distributor as a whole unit or try to dismantle and remove and replace the cam sensor

Your owners manual should have diagram of radiator and coolant reservoir. If not call your local Chevy or Daewoo dealer (Daewoo makes the Matiz for Chevy)

remove the outer small bolts to remove balancer(pulley) the big centre bolt holds crankshaft gear for timming belt which slides off with timming belt removed.

hi i have a 51 reg daewoo matiz and i have noticed a noise appearing for a few minutes when driving a around 30 to 40 mph then it stops then starts agin a few minutes later ,it sounds like its coming from some where behind the speedometer ,it sounds like a dry spinning noise and i did notice the speedo needle flickering but it orso made the noise when starting from cold

Has the clutch been replaced recently? There is an earth wire under one of the bell housing bolts,if not refitted can cause all sorts of problems.

the problem is with the engine cooling system due to the lack of cooling of engine it is over heated so better to check the coolent pipes...

Does your your alarm ligth stay on when switch car on? If it does then ther is a problem with your car alarm system.

Under your stearing rack is a white box. Take it to your local car alarm dealer to get new car ship and get new ship melted in your key.

cam sensor is called the optical sensor and is located in the distributer

i have a Daewoo Matiz 2000. It doesn't have Power Steering although other models of Matiz came with Power steering. I want to know if a Power steering can be installed on my Matiz. If so, whom can I contact.
