By any chance did they get the motor from auto zone? You may still have a bad motor. I would try another motor and if that doesnt work look at wires possibly an open somewhere between motor and switch .

Front windshield wippers stoped working still hear motor humming but nothing happens

Hi,
Sounds like your wiper linkage have loosen up or the linkage from the motor arm got disconnected.
The solution would be to bring that car to your mechanic or dealer to have them reconnect the wiper linkage, a plastic clip lock might have broken and needs to be replace, the parts is less than $5.
Hope that solves your problem!

My wippers stoped working on my way home

To troubleshoot car windshield wiper problems, you need to thoroughly investigate problems with any of its operating parts. Here are some of the things that you need to check to determine why are your car windshield wipers not working.

Check Wiper Motor
The wiper motor is the driving force of the windshield wiper. Feel the motor and listen to a humming sound. If there is no humming, the motor is the problem. Check if the motor is working properly and see to it that its electrical connections are made properly. If you find that the motor is dead and beyond repair, get it replaced immediately.

Check For Break in Connecting Wires
The connecting wires of the motor sometimes go loose and that may cause the windshield wipers to stop working. Also check the battery plug connection which the motor has. Connecting the loose wires properly or fixing/replacing the plug might solve your problem.

Check Wiper Switch
Another wiper assembly part that can malfunction is the wiper switch itself. Check for switch malfunction and if you find that is indeed the problem, get it replaced from a mechanic.

Check for Bent Wiper Arms
Bent wiper arms can cause the operation of the wipers to be hampered. If the wiper arms are bent beyond repair, get them replaced immediately.

Check For Blown Out Car Fuse
A blown up car fuse could be the culprit that has stopped the windshield wipers from working. Check the fuse assembly under the dashboard of the car. Replacing a blown fuse might fix the problem of windshield wipers not working.

Windshield Wiper Sprayers Not Working - Things to Check

Sometimes the windshield wiper sprayer stops working which can be very annoying. The washer mechanism is a self cleaning mechanism for the windshield. Here are some of the things that you need to check in case it is not working.

Check Windshield Washer Motor
The windshield washer mechanism might have been impaired due to the malfunctioning of the wiper washer motor. Check if its working and get it replaced if it is beyond repair.

Check Windshield Washer Fluid Level
Sometimes the washer doesn't work because the washer fluid levels are not filled to requisite levels. Filling in fluid might restore normal functioning.

Check For Broken Washer Hose
The connecting washer hose that connects the reservoir to the nozzle, might be broken or worn out stalling the overall operation. Check the hose for leaks and get it replaced.

Check Washer Nozzle For Clogging
Last thing to check is the nozzle of the washer for clogging. An obstruction in the washer nozzle might be the reason for windshield wiper sprayers not working. Using a pin, clean the clogged nozzle. This might restore the sprayer to the normal working condition.

Windshield wippers wont start

check for blown fuse, then check for a defective wiper switch, i doubt both motor are worn, but it could be possible..spray window with windex on the windshield and then turn on wiper switch and give the wiper a slight assist with your hands to see if the motors are week.

My windshield wippers suddenly stopped working after my neighbor poured water when the windshield froze due to cold water

1. Start the vehicle and turn ON the Wipers. Open the Hood. Go to the base of the left wiper and flip up the hinged cover. Do you hear the Wiper Motor running? Do you see the nut and the wiper bolt moving, but not the wiper arm? If so then this nut needs to be tightened down and your Fixed!
IF this does not fix the problem:
2. Check the Fuse for the Wipers. It is located in the Fuse Panel located on the lower left side of the dash. Remove the cover to gain access. I believe it should be Fuse #11 20-amp. But consult your owners Manual to be sure.
3. To rule out the Wiper Motor:
a. Turn the Ignition to the On (not start) position.
b. Turn the Wiper Switch to the ON position.
c. Use a jumper wire between the motor and a good ground. If the motor works then it is a bad Ground. Remove the ground retaining nut, clean both the Gorund connection and the post., replace, and recheck operation.
IF this does not fix the problem:
4. Disconnect the electrical connection to the Wiper Motor and again with the Engine On and Wiper Switch - ON: Check for voltage. If no voltage then there is problem with the Wiper Switch of the Wiring.

Windshield Wipper switch will not turn off, 2005 Trailblazer

There was a recall on the wiper circuit board cracking and causing the problems your having and at worst the wipers not working. For now you can pull the fuse to the wipers to save the wiper blades, but the problem is the circuit board where the wire harness clips on to the wiper motor cracks and will need to be re-soldered. You can check with the dealer to see if your wiper motor is still covered with the campaign a few years ago, if not you can buy the replacement circuit board at most larger auto parts store like Auto Zone and they can give you the step by step instructions to get the job done. A light tap to the electric motor where the wire harness will also fix this problem, but it really needs to be re-soldered or replaced. Good luck

My windshield wipers work but I cant squirt windshield cleaner

it's likely the tiny motor/pump located at the bottom of the tank that has failed. to confirm this have some turn on the washer fluid switch and test for voltage at the pump. there are several aftermarket pumps you can use as a replacement.
