It is located under the skid plate under the engine. there are two screws in the front under the radiator, two on the side, and two under the transmission. Once you take the plate off you will see the oil pan and plug

How to tell if a fuse in 2003 Kia Sorento is good

None of those would be fixed by replacing the battery. Or did you replace the battery and then all of those stopped working?

You can tell of blade fuses are blown if you full them and hold them up to the light. That is a whole lot of stuff not working. I would say you need a good auto-electrician.

I have a 2003 KIA Sorento 2.5 CRDI,cranks but does not start.

You may need a fuel pump. Please remove and check the fuel filter for metal and debris (could be clogged?) If there is metal filings found inside the filter. That is an indication of a fuel pump failure. I hope that helps, good luck.

Radiator installation on 2003 Kia Sorento

That is a VERY easy radiator.
Loosen radiator drain plug and drain coolant from radiator.
Disconnect cooling fan connectorsRemove upper and lower radiator hoses after marking them to ease installation.
For vehicles equipped with automatic transaxles, disconnect transmission cooler lines at transaxle.
Remove air conditioner condenser fixing bolts and radiator bracket fixing nuts.
Remove the radiator, radiator cooling fan, air conditioning cooling fan and transmission cooler lines from the vehicle as an assembly.
Transfer all necessary parts (fan assemblies, cooler lines, clips, speed nuts, fittings, etc.) to the new radiator.

Reverse procedure to install.

Fill and bleed cooling system.

Where is the engine oil drain plug? fill in too much oil. what happen? Kia Sorento 2003 petrol.

The plug is on the bottom of the engine, in the oil pan. Usually a 15 mm wrench will take it off. Over filling can cause it to smoke and other problems over time. If your a quart or two over , yes you need to drain it. If it is about an 1/8" or less over on the dipstick, I wouldn't worry about it

Unable to locate radiator drain plug on KIA Sorento 2003 Thank you for your assistance

It is on the side of the bottom of the radiator, but I found it easier to just remove the lower radiator hose and let it just drain faster that way. Keep a large container nearby to catch the coolant.

Vehicle bogs down when accelerating at low speeds

I would replace the spark plugs and spark plug wires. Replace them ONE AT A TIME!! Do NOT mix up the firing order of the wires!! When you pull each plug look at it and see if it oil fouled. Some Kia's have an issue with leaking valve cover gaskets that can cause excessive amounts of oil to collect around one or more of the plugs which fouls them out and causes misfires. If this is the case, the only solution is to replace the gasket and the plugs. Please rate me on this answer.
