04 endeavor twice now when i turn the car on everything works ok exept the ac and the radio . then after i turn the car off and then back on ,every thing works fine.can eny one help or know what this problem is

The reverse polarity will have "zapped the radio"
There is a possibility that only the supply fuse has "blown", but depending on the radio make, could have blown the internal fuse as well.
Also, there is again the distinct possibility that other supply circuits failed with this Reverse polarity energy supply.
Work across each supply circuit in turn, now the Battery is connected properly.
Ignition warning lights, gauges etc.
Headlights, Turn signals.
Wipers, washers.
Remote locking, Alarm.
Engine startup, Alternator charge output.
A/c operationand Heater/Blower controls, and function.

If your radio works and you press mode .Does head unit recognize cd,s
It should display no cd,s cd error etc
The reason i ask this is to confirm that connection is ok to stacker
To eject PRESS AND HOLD eject button,insert credit card under cartridge,push fully in and move left/right untill eject
This will locate micro switch,so you can check discs
Ok, that's better. The popping sound is your radio picking up the electril of your engine.. Check the radio Antenaeand make sure it is tight. Car washes sometimes remove them so they don't get bent or broken.. Let me know
