Erasing personal code1. Enter the factory-set code.

2. Press 1/2 within five seconds of

step 1.

3. Press the 7/8 and 9/0 controls at

the same time within five seconds of

step 2.

The system will now only respond

to the factory-set code.

Programming your own personal entry code1. Enter the factory-set code (keypad will illuminate when pressed).

2. Press the 1/2 control within five

seconds of step 1.

3. Enter your personal 5 digit code.

Enter each digit within five seconds

of the previous one.

Your personal code does not replace the permanent code that the

dealership gave you. You can use either code to unlock your vehicle. If a

second personal code is entered, the module will erase the first personal

code in favor of the new code.

If you don't have the original code you can't. If you have an aftermarket radio, you can't. I can reset them with my scanner. But not if the radio isn't factory. I don't know if the dealer can. Call around.

How do I reset the anti-theft system on my 2004 Ford Explorer?? Please help me and my family .....

This is the only way, if your FOB doesn't work. The system has to be in good working order. Lock the truck down. all doors and hood and hatch. open the door with the key. drivers side first, then try the passenger side(one at a time). These are the only doors that will reset security. If still no reset. You will have to have the codes read. Find some one that can read these codes(at your home) or tow it to a shop or dealer. Code readers won't read security. Has to be a scanner.

Where is the door code for my 2005 ford 500 so I can reset it

Your door code should be on a sticker inside the trunk lid. That's where Ford put it on my several different models.

I can't find the door unlock code on a used 93 nissan QWEST

the permanent code is on the inside of the glove box door. Also on a plastic card with the owner manual packet.
You must use the permanent code to reset your personal code which will then unlock the doors. Your owner manual will walk you through the reset procedure.

Call selling dealer if no permanent code can be found.
