My 06 rendezvous keeps dying when it's hot out above 70 degrees is this a o2 sensor and is their a sensor in the gas tank

It might be vapor locked..It's caused from overfilling you gas tank all the time...It's when the pressure in your gas tank becomes greater than your gas pump...The car will shut off...If this is what it is just loosen the gas cap and the car will crank immediately..While opening the gas cap it would be sucking in air.. Sometimes people put a aftermarket gas cap on there car without any ventilation..The correct way to fix is the change the charcoal filter in the line running back to the carburetor..Over the years of over filling your car..the gas has made the filter hard inside and that causes vapor lock...Alway only go to the next nickel when filling up your car at the gas station...Hope this helps

What would cause my Hyundai Santa Fe to start hard every time I put fuel in the tank? It doesn't mater if I just put a couple of gallons in or fill it up.

First sign of pump going bad when it is being filled fuel swirls the dirt around in the tank and when you go to start it it is hard. after the pump is running it runs fine til the next time.

I have a 1997 Chrysler Sebring 6 cylinder 2.5 it's been missing and will die when it I drive it for to long could be a pick up coil auto zone shows it as a distributor pickup I have replaced plugs wires...

Night be vapor locked..What's that? It when your gas tank pressure becomes greater than your gas pump...You'll be driving then it just shuts off like running out if gas... Quick fix? Open your gas cap and leave it Lise to get air into your gas tank..Clue if this is the problem...Your car will start immediately. Hints...Listen when you loosen gas cap...Can you hear air sucking back into your gas tank. Cheap fix..Take the smallest drill bit and drill a hole into the center of the gas tank..It also could be a replacement gas cap that someone put on the car..Buy the original cap..What caused the problem to start with? Over filling your gas tankk..Putting that extra 75cent to top it off..Your cars gas tank is designed to burn fumes...When you over fill a tank it sends gasoline down those vapor hoses then into a charcoal canister..Over years if doing this...It gets clogged up then the fumes can't get out the tank...It builds up pressure and becomes greater than your gas pump...Then it shuts off...If you wait long enough....it will start back...This sounds crazy....But this could really be your problem...Next time the car shuts off... loosen gas car...If it starts...BINGO....You have solved your problem... Drill a hole in gas cap or buy another canister... Usually behind the headlights... Some under car..Follow the gas line... Hope this helps you or someone else....Stop over filling your gas tanks...You'll keep this from happening....Tell others

2003 Chevrolet Silverado 4.3 V6 with MFI. Engine ran not start.

Well it could be numerous if things but you want suggestions...So here's mine..Your gas tank might be vapor locked...This is caused from over filling your gas tank with gas over the years..Its when the pressure in your gas tank becomes greater than your fuel pump. It wont start until the pressure in your gas tank becomes lower then you fuel pump...Sounds crazy...This got me once...I didn't understand it...A lot of people (including me) Go to the gas station and get that extra 50 cent after the gas nozzle clicks off...over time that extra gas will run down the vapor lines intended to burn fumes....Like when you fill a gas can to cut your grass...If you sake the gas can it builds pressure and bows up. But with time that pressure will go away...Well saying that...Your gas tank needs to vent to....So your car burns not only gas but fumes...If you keep over filling your car with the extra gas it cloggs up your vapor canister intended for fumes or vapors...The gas will will go into that canister and clogg up the charcoal that's inside it. (Breaks it down) then the vapors can't get to your carburetor where it supposed to burns it. So what happens is the pressure in the gas tank becomes greater than your fuel pump and then car won't start..Are you with me? Lol Its crazy..Putting a different gas cap can cause the same thing...Simple test...When you open your gas cap to get gas.. Do you heat air sucking in.. Yes you can hear it....A lot of times loosening the cap let's the pressure out and the car will start right up.....Thus might not be your problem but worth telling at the gas pumps to other people..... Just trying to help

My 1999 GMC Suburban is hard to start first thing in the morning. It has to turn over for a while before it starts, almost like it has to wait for the fuel to get to the engine. After the first time, it...

Yup!
The fuel pressure valve is stuck open and drains the fuel (via gravity) back to the tank.
Check the fuel pressure regulator / replace.

You might want to put a bottle of "complete fuel system" cleaner ($8 AutoZone) in the gas (not diesel) tank, next fill-up. It may do the trick in a couple of days.

My petrol gauge says I need to fill up but I can't

if you are sure the gas gauge was correct in that you needed a fill up then the problem is a restricted fuel tank vent pipe, this pipe runs next to the fill pipe and lets air out as the tank fills, if it gets obstructed for any reason like a kink then u get the slosh back hard fill issue you are experiencing
