How can I disable the passengers side airbag it's going to take over one year before GM might replace it

discuss the problem with the customer relations department at GM head quarters on line
Statistics show that the most dangerous seat in the car is the passenger seat ( 80% deaths ) so it would not be a good idea to disable it
why does it have to be disabled
Is this an issue with your local dealer service centre
Maybe it is an issue that should be sorted out with legal representation as the car will not be road legal with an inoperative air bag and that is jail time for an person driving the car with the knowledge that the air bag is disconnected.

You need some legal advice on this matter, a forum is certainly not the place that you could get information that you could rely on in a legal matter.

Who is liable for damage caused by wandering stock in Queensland?

Check for this with you legal council. The laws were altered some time ago but basically if the road is fenced there is a problem as liability may be with you
If the road is not fenced it may be with the stock owner
I repeat check with the legal council as there may be some grey areas.

I need help with some legal problems who can I talk to get some advice

If you are having legal problems the only people to get legal advice from are the trained a qualified lawyers , solicitors or legal representatives in your area. If you cannot afford legal representation seek out your legal aid department. Anyone else will not be qualified to advise and you will be at a disadvantage in a court showdown.

Do I have any legal recourse? A notice from the Department of Public Safety said that my driver's license would not be renewed because the City of Hawkins had filed against me on a Citation issued

I really don't think your city ordinance has any authority whatsoever upon your driving privileges. Matter of fact, the two have nothing to do with each other. You need to speak to an attorney. May be variables involved which involve your city or county laws in place which permit such penalties when addressing property blight situations. good luck

I have a 2001 GMC Jimmy 4.3L 4x4. Found out that my catalytic converters are plugged and truck will barely run. My question is my 2001 Jimmy is emission standard to California. That is why it has two cats...

I will suggest if you ever drive it to California, unless you comply with their rules it won't be legal. However if you're a legal resident in another state, abide by their rules u should be ok. Again this is not legal advice, it's a suggestion.

Hi,I'm a new member here. I bought a second hand Isuzu pick up 1997 model. I noticed that my headlights are not good. So,I bought Phillips bulbs 90/130 thinking it was the solution. Up to these moment...

Ricky,

Presuming that you have installed your new headlights (By the way, as an aside if you were in the OK 90w/130w lights are not road legal, are they legal where you are?) but they are still dim then there is a high probability that the output from your altenator is low. It could be faulty or simply need adjustment (There is a regulator on the altenator that you can adjust, but I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with the procedure).

I would suggest that you put a meter across your battery and check the voltage with the engine running. If it's not around 13 volts, you probably do need the charging system checked.

Hope this helps

Hello--- can I tow a 2000 AWD volvo wagon with a dolly? Thanks!

Um...no...in order to tow you need rated tow-cable or shock absorbing chains or a tow hitch. you would also need hazard lights that also show which way the towed vehicle is turning (ppl cant see the towing car's turn signals) usually there are magetics ones that hook up to the towing cars trailer light system.
Safe towing by LAW is the issue here...could you tow it with a dolly...yes...but is it against the law..YES and the LAW protects you from hurting yourself, others, and property.
I hope this answers your question. and please be safe. (dont do it)
8-)
