Adding transmission fluid to the correct level on 2007 Saturn Vue Hybrid. I know that there is not a dip stick to check for the correct level. I would assume I would add fluid by removing the cap that is under the hood. But is there a bolt I would remove and add fluid until it come out of the bolt hole? Like on a rear end differential?

SOURCE: i can't add transmission fluid to my 2004 saturn vue

I think your transmission is a 4T45E which does not have a typical dipstick. Check underneath the vehicle on the transmission case above the oil pan on the passenger side of the vehicle and you will see a pipe thread plug. The transmission must be at operating temperature on a level surface and the engine running, you then remove the plug and add new fluid in the fill hole until it runs out the removed plug. You will obviously need a catch basin and do not re-insert plug until fluid has stopped overflowing. Do not turn off the engine during the process.

SOURCE: hood latch problem on 2003 saturn vue

cable is a little worn, but what you can do is open the hood.on each side or the core support, its the long piece that is above the radiator are 2 black rubber hood stops, you can try bringing them up a little at a time(3/4-1 turn)equally as this will put more pressure on the hood and should pop right open.It may take mor ore less than the turns I said, also lube the hood latch with some good lube not WD-40 hope it works have a good day DB

SOURCE: 2002 saturn vue checking transmission fluid

Absolutely if it is an automatic transmission. You do need to use the right type for your product. If you do not change oil yourself, the lube shop should check the trans with each oil change while they do the rest of the work.

SOURCE: changing the tramission filter on a 2007 Saturn

Hello and welcome. here is the instructions for removing the trans filter. you will need to drop the bottom trans pan off to gain access to the filter.

  • Remove the oil pan bolts from only the front and the sides.
  • Loosen the rear oil pan bolts about 4 turns.
  • Lightly tap the oil pan with a rubber mallet or pry in order to allow the fluid to drain.
  • Remove the remaining oil pan bolts.
  • Remove the oil pan.
Install the oil pan attaching bolts.
    Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 12 N·m (106 lb in).

Do the 2009 saturn vue carry transmission fluid dipstick if so where is it located in the engine

No dip stick , most all new vehicles don't have one now a day's . You have to jack up the vehicle an find the plug on the side of the trans . if fluid dips out ,it's full .
The oil level control plug (65) is located on the torque converter side of the transmission. Your best bet , take it jiffy lube or some other place like that .

Have a 2007 Saturn Vue 6 cyl. Not Hybrid and the manual shows a dipstick to check transmission fluid level back of the engine. Where is it, I can't see it. Thanks

I think the V6 Vue has the dipstick nearer the front of the engine bay. It is located near the battery, tucked down low between the transmission and the radiator.
Some car models do not always have a dipstick fitted as standard so there might only be a cap covering the dip hole.

Car starts and when you give it gas it wont go any where and the rpm hand goes up and still dont move

This sounds like transmission problems, some of these models do not have a transmission dip stick to check the transmission fluid level.
The first step is to see if this car has a dip stick to check the transmission fluid level. Low fluid will cause this problem also or if there is a leak and fluid leaks low after time until it gets to low and transmission wont move.
if this model does not have a dip stick for the transmission then you will need to take it to a tranny or repair shop and have them check it.

If you have a dip stick and the fluid is full then you may have internal transmission problems and again will need a shop to check it out. Make sure if the fluid is low and you are adding you will need to make sure you are using the correct fluid or damage will occur , the type is written on the stick, look closely and you will see the writing ,

this is a so called "sealed transmission" what does this mean?, there is no dip stick, the fluid level is checked by removing a plug on the tranmission case.

the dipstick is located behind the front transmission mount and its held in by a 12mm bolt. you may need to remove the transmission mount to check the fluid. the color of the dipstick is yellow, make sure the car is in park and fully warmed up to operating temerature and on a level surface before checking the fluid.

Separate air tube from the hose and push the tube back towards the transaxle. Remove the clip holding the two power steering lines together. All Models: From underneath vehicle remove the transaxle check/fill plug with engine running. Fluid level should be even with hole. Add fluid as needed until fluid flows from hole. Replace check/fill plug and torque to 9 ft. lbs. (12 Nm).
