If the truck has a fuel pump relay, then it's not a mechanical pump it's eletrical. If you're SURE it has a relay, then the ELETRICAL pump is in the fuel tank. If it's mechanical, it will be on the motor, near the belts. Not sure which side on a ford.

No fuel when cranking, can i test without having to get to the intank fuel pump?

I am assuming it has a electric fuel pump. Find the fuel filter and carefully take the line loose past the filter turn KEY on only it should pump out fuel. If not first check the fuse, then fire to the relay if all is good let me know and I will go into detail with you .I have seen that when you do major work you pinch wires blow fuses just check it Good Luck.

Car overheating with vapor coming out from dash

watch temp gauge in dash and don't get it hot or you can ruin the engine. sounds like the heater core is still leaking. don't know your weather but usually you can bypass the heater core under the hood by unhooking the lines going into the dash from the engine and hook the two hoses together which will keep the car from overheating but you won't have inside heat. hoses go from engine to dash area and are a little smaller than a thumb

Where is the location of the fuel pump relay

Did it run fine prior to replacing the alt and battery? Check over where you have been working, sometimes things get bumped/disconnected. Fuel pump shut-off switch is in one of the kick panels near the inside of the doors. Reach up over the top of the kick panel. The pump relay are near the battery. What happens on this model too,is the heater leaks on the computer, which is under the heater core. The coolant/water shorts it out.

Fuel pump relay & fuze location for 1994 chevy 51500 pick up

if you really have a carburetor as you say, you have a mechanical fuel pump so you will not have a fuel pump relay. if you have fuel injection then you do have a fuel pump relay, need to know which engine it is to help more.

IM TRYING TO CHANGE MY HEATER CORE ON AN 01 S10. I HAVE THE DASH OUT BUT CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET THE CASE OFF OF IT.

on the out side of cab under hood in engine compartment on the firewall there are 2 nuts that need to be removed and 1 by the heater fan motor. theres a little secret trap compartment in engine compartment by the ac unit and the heater core fan that has 3rd bolt. the box on the inside of cab will come lose.

No hot air FROM HEATER inside 2000 318IA

Hi There, If the fan blows only cold air, then you might have a restriction on the heater core. The heater core is like a small radiator inside your dash. The coolant flow through it can be restricted by corrosion. The lack of flow of coolant through the heater core will result in a lack of warm air inside the car. Flushing out the heater core may help. If not, you will have to replace it. I would say though, 80% of the time the cause is just restriction. Get the heater core flushed and I am sure you will get your heat back. MIke
