SOURCE: parking brake pedal goes to floor

The disc brake pads are NOT used for the parking brake. The parking brake uses mini-drum type shoes inside the rear disc rotor.

SOURCE: A/C blowing hot air in 2005 Lincoln LS

It could be the dccv or the evap. discharge sensor, driver's temp sensor or pass temp sensor. Without hooking up a tester to read pids there is no way to tell. I would recommend going to someone that has the ids tester to read pids. good luck.

SOURCE: lincoln ls 2004 service park brake light keeps

This can be brake wear sensor or ABS sensor.
I can not help you on the brake job but you can verify it by listening carefully for a metal to metal contact sound.
This is a small metal tab that make noise when the pad is low. This warn you to service the brakes soon.
=========
For dirty ABS sensor
The simple DIY method is to gently hose down each wheels when there are COMPLETELY COLD. Dirt can cover to ABS sensors.

Most failure are from the front wheels because of the heat.

The car wash with under side cleaning will also do the trick if it's a dirt related problem.

Remove the negitive battery cable or clear OBD-II code.

MAC and OTC make ABS senor tester to pin point the trouble spot but it cost $$$.

Do the preventive cleaning before bring it to the shop.

The parking break won't disengage on my Lincoln Ls 2003.

Try checking the fuse for the parking brake. If that doesn't work check the ground meaning you might have to remove the cover were the parking brake button is. If that's not it you have to have someone check the parking brake cable which is located behind the brake caliper in the rear of the vehicle. Sorry for the long novel just giving you the most common things before it drives you crazy. Hope it helps if anything just post again and ill b glad to help you again. Thanks good luck.

My 2003 lincoln has a warning indicator service p. What does this mean?

Your parking brake system needs to be diagnosed

It is electrical.

Nothing to do with the brake rotors or pads
at the wheels

Srve (p) comes on

That indicates that your Parking Brake is in need
of some type of service.

I'm going to guess you don't disassemble,clean,
and lube any of your brakes once a year,so the
parking brake it's self, may not be the main issue,
that caused your dash light to come on.

I would service your rear brakes, then diagnose
any parking brake issues later, if they still remain

When i say service,I am not referring to replacing
or even machining parts unless necessary.

Brake rust badly in a few months and need constant
rust removal, lube and other attention yearly ,that
unfortunately even the professionals don't do

I had difficulty shifting my from park to reverse while my ny 2003 Lincoln LS was parked on an fairly steep incline? Is that normal?

You should always use your parking brake. Leave your foot on the brake, then apply the parking brake. If you don't,the only thing holding the car, is the mechanical parking pawl in the transmission, and yes, it could break or fail to hold the weight off the vehicle, and it would roll away,as well as damage the trans.

2003 Lincoln LS V8, Won't turn over after errors

Forget the four coils. That is a common problem, but I would question 4 failing.
The ABS ,Parking Brake,Speedo Etc,where nothing to worry about, you were loosing power, when it went to fail safe,so they came up.

ETC -is Electronic Throttle Control, your problem? Maybe
You will need to have a scanner put on it's,daignostic connector under the dash,to check for codes. Them only a trained technician can follow a chart or test proceedure to properly repair.
I have a 2004 LS,one of Ford most high tech and complicated vehicles.
Conclusion: only a professional can repair you car.
I would start with a local shop. If money you have money to throw away,go to a dealer.
Most likely have to wave to it on a flat bed carrier. Don't flat tow it.

2001 lincoln ls will not shift out of park

Brake interlock, your foot needs to be on the brake to shift out of park. If you are doing that and you still can't shift then check all your fuses, the lock circuit may be out
