One of my customers has a 2006 Mercedes Benz E320 CDI. When you activate the Sat Nav this message appears "Navigation Device Unavailable." What does this mean. I know it came equipped with satellite navigation service when she bought it.

You have to register using a credit card to use some of the faciilties of the system, could be she is not paying the annual subscription to keep it activated?????

Switch on ignition. Cycle left steering wheel buttons till mileage and trip are displayed. Press reset button ( left corner of instrument cluster ) for 3 seconds until reset message appears, release and press again within a few seconds and confirmation will appear on dash. switch off ignition.
I have a 2005 mercedes e320 CDI. The Main inspection is the General inspection in the FSS. You have to go into the fss and confirm the General inspection by giving it a date in the future. That date is for the next inspection.
Mercedes commans sat nav version 4.1 for E220, is saying off road, and when at home is showing on map that I am somewhere in the National Park Peak District. I have been told to remove fuse for sat nav should be no 28 but in boot of car near sat nav cassette fuses in box only go upto 20. Am I looking in the right place?
Your radio/nav system needs a code. Go the your dealer's parts department , give them the VIN of your car( should be free $0). Punch in the code through the car radio and your radio/nav system should work right away.

You need to replace the cd changer. This is very common on these vehicles. The best place to get the changer is the dealership. I have seen them fit aftermarket changers in there but can not give any advise on that.
